Diagnosed during the beginning of the pandemic in April 2020, there were so many facets to his story. ShareCare gave him a chance to share his story, while he was actively battling this disease in hospital isolation.

Bruce Baskin Golf Outing: Raising Cystic Fibrosis Awareness
Nicholas had the privilege of being the keynote speaker for the Bruce Baskin Annual Golf Outing. This event is put on by the Baskin Family in conjunction with the Northeastern Ohio Cystic Fibrosis Chapter. The event is an opportunity to golf while raising money and awareness for those affected by Cystic Fibrosis. As a CF Fighter himself, Nicholas is a strong ambassador and advocate for the CF community. In this speech, he discussed his journey with CF, his diagnosis, the importance of collaboration and teamwork, and the need for continued support and fundraising efforts. This poem was created for the Cystic Fibrosis Breath of Life Gala, which raised over 5 million dollars for Cystic Fibrosis Treatment and Cystic Fibrosis Research. We won’t stop until CF stands for #CureFound
